The Canadian English Language Proficiency Index Program (CELPIP) Test is a fully computer-delivered English-language testing program which provides a consistent and standardized measurement of a test taker’s competency in the four language skills (listening, reading, writing and speaking). It incorporates Canadian English and accents as practiced in Canada.
Westman Immigrant Services will be offering the CELPIP-General and the CELPIP-General LS Test.
The CELPIP-General Test assesses listening, reading, writing and speaking proficiency in typical everyday situations. It is designed by Citizenship and Immigration Canada (CIC) as proof of English language proficiency for those applying for permanent resident status in Canada.
The CELPIP-General LS Test assesses listening and speaking proficiency in typical everyday situations. It is accepted by CIC as a proof of listening and speaking proficiency for those applying for Canadian citizenship.
